I didn't buy this book. I'm not a mother yet, and my purchases in Christian literature tend toward help with anxiety, or uplifting messages about "hanging in there". And I'm trying to. I really don't have everything figured out yet, and I know I cause my mom a lot of worry. Not because she isn't respectful of my ability to make my own decisions, but just because she loves me. My health hasn't been the best lately, and my husband and I are going through an ugly split with his ex-best friend and business partner.So when I saw this book sitting on her kitchen table, and picked it up to look through it, I nearly started crying. Things have been hard lately, and I really *don't* have everything figured out yet. But it was so touching to be reminded that no matter how many years I've been gone from my mom's house, she's still looking out for me. She's still praying for me, she will always love me, and she is concerned. I haven't always given her the easiest time. Nor have I always been grateful for the love she's poured out, or the faith she's placed in God on my behalf, but I'd like to think I'm getting better.And I do know that no matter how much I struggle, I'll always come around, and I'll always come back.So to all you mothers out there, praying for your kids, I want to say thank you. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your concern. And thank you for believing in us, and believing in God.

It points us right to God’s word as THE source for praying for our kids, no matter their age! I love how she included scripture prayers to encourage parents as well!
Extremely encouraging !! Loved every second of reading this book filled with comforting truths and hope when praying for your adult children. If you have adult children you need this book. Praying the word of God over your children is the most effective way you can pray. God's word never comes back void, but accomplishes what He sends it forth to do.
This is a good resource. The thing I liked most about this boom is that the author has gathered pertinent scripture in one place and that she personalizes the scriptures. I don’t know why this never occurred to me but it makes the prayer much more powerful.

I love this book. I thought it was such a great book that I bought 20 more copies to give to all my friends who have adult children. Praying for your children is the best thing you can do for them and this book really amped up my prayer life. If you don’t pray for your kids, who will? Each chapter focuses on the different stages of your adult children’s lives and ends with scriptures that apply to that stage of life. If you have adult children you need this book! I highly recommend It!
